==Early Life and Education==
Ninad Sheode was born in Vidisha, Madhya Pradesh, India, to Nandita and Vinayak Sheode. His father, Vinayak Sheode, initially worked as a mechanical engineer at Walchandnagar Industries Limited before venturing into entrepreneurship by establishing a small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) producing flanges in Pirangut, near Pune. The family later migrated to Pune, where Ninad completed his schooling at Bal Shikshan Mandir English Medium School in Kothrud and graduated from Abasaheb Garware College in Deccan Gymkhana, Pune.
Ninad pursued his higher education at Fergusson College, Pune, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree. He went on to obtain an M.Sc. in Physics from the Department of Physics at the University of Pune, and an M.Tech. in Atmospheric Physics through a joint program between the University of Pune and the Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology.
He completed his Ph.D. in Environmental Physics from the University of Bremen in Germany, under the supervision of Dr. Bjoern Martin Sinnhuber and guidance of Dr. John Burrows. His doctoral research focused on the Analysis of Stratospheric Bromine Monoxide using data from SCIAMACHY.
