Dr. Tanjila Ahamed was born in Tajpur, Majna, in the Purba Medinipur district of West Bengal. Raised in a simple and culturally grounded environment, she developed strong values of compassion, empathy, and service early in life. Her curiosity for science and medicine began during her childhood studies at Namal Nursery School, laying the foundation for her future in the medical field.
She completed her 10th standard at Contai Hindu Girls School and later pursued Pure Science in her higher secondary education at Khalishabhanga High School. Her academic dedication and passion for the medical sciences motivated her to pursue a full-fledged medical career.

Dr. Tanjila graduated in Medicine from the West Bengal University of Health Sciences in 2016, completing her degree from a reputed Government Medical College in Howrah. She also served as an NICU Duty Doctor at Sanjibon Hospital, Fuleswar, Uluberia, where she handled critical care and neonatal emergencies with precision and dedication.
