Boby Chemannur was born on May 26, 1964, in Thrissur, Kerala, India. He comes from the Chemmanur family, which has a long history in the jewellery business. He completed his early education in Thrissur and later pursued higher studies in commerce. From a young age, Boby was involved in the family business and showed a keen interest in expanding and modernizing it.

Boby Chemannur began his career by joining the family-owned Chemmanur Jewellers, which was established in 1863. He took over the business in the early 1980s and introduced several innovative marketing strategies that set the brand apart from its competitors.

The crowning glory in his sports life came when he completed running 812 kilometers on the road to spread the message "Give blood save life" with a Unique World Record. He has donated an amount equal to 4.5 million British pounds to the needy during the marathon.

Among the several awards he has been given, the Mother Teresa Award is the one that he considers the most prestigious. Guinness World Record for world peace, Glory Of India Award (London), Best Humanitarian Award, Kerala State Business Excellence Award. The Glory of India Award, Global Keraleeyan Award, Mahatma Puraskar and Indo British Business Excellence Award are a few of the many awards he has received from around the world.

Boche spends a major portion of his profit and time to do charity and social service. He considered it as a passion. Boche started Life Vision Charity Trust to take care of destitute people from the streets and provide them food, medicine and shelter during their lifetime. He is doing charity without accepting any amount as a donation from anyone. The Boche Fans App, India's first charity, gaming & entertainment app launched by the Boche Fans Charitable Trust, for helping the poor. Till date, millions of rupees in financial and non-financial assistance have been disbursed by the Boche Fans Coordinators through applications received on the Boche Fans app.
