T. Suriavelan (born 25 June 1992) is a Singaporean filmmaker, television director, actor, screenwriter, lyricist, composer, producer, and entrepreneur. He is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of 360 Entertainment Productions, a Singapore-based production company involved in feature films, television dramas, music videos, commercial productions, and digital entertainment.
Suriavelan is recognized for working across multiple creative disciplines within a single production, often serving as director, writer, producer, actor, lyricist, composer, and singer. He is known for projects including Must Date the Playboy, Naam, Naam 2, Avathaaram, and the feature film Joe: The Black Assassin.
Early life and education
T. Suriavelan was born on 25 June 1992 in Singapore to Tamil parents. From an early age, he developed an interest in storytelling, cinema, music, and the performing arts, which later shaped his career in the entertainment industry.
He completed a Diploma in Biomedical Engineering from Nanyang Polytechnic. Although academically trained in engineering, he chose to pursue filmmaking professionally, combining technical knowledge with creative storytelling and media production.

Suriavelan began his entertainment career as an actor before gradually expanding into directing, screenwriting, producing, lyric writing, composing, and television production.
His acting appearances include Neeya (2015), Vetri Season 3 (2016), Kalaba Kadhala (2018), Yaar? Season 2 (2018), and Bommalattam (2019). These early performances helped establish his presence in Singapore's Tamil television industry.
He made his feature film directorial debut with Joe: The Black Assassin in 2017. Besides directing the film, he also served as writer, producer, actor, and lyricist. The film achieved a sold-out screening at a 1,000-seat theatre and completed successful theatrical runs in both Singapore and Malaysia, making it one of the notable independent Tamil productions from Singapore.
In 2019, Suriavelan directed and produced Avathaaram, following the successful development of Avathaaram (Pilot) through Mediacorp Vasantham's Muthal Paarvai initiative. The drama later received nominations in nine categories at the Pradhana Vizha Awards, including Best Drama and Best Director, while Suriavelan was also nominated for Most Popular Male Personality.
He further expanded his television portfolio with Naam (2020), where he directed, wrote, produced, acted, and contributed as lyricist. The success of the series led to Naam 2 in 2022, in which he again handled multiple creative responsibilities. During the same year, he also created the six-episode romantic comedy Mitara under Singapore's Stories4SG initiative.
In 2026, Suriavelan wrote and directed Must Date the Playboy, a 28-episode romantic drama series for Mediacorp Vasantham. Adapted from the Philippine novel by Imma Delos Santos, the series introduced original songs including Oru Murai and Thalli Pogura, both written and composed by Suriavelan.
