Early Life

Biography
After completing his education, Lalit began his career as a software engineer at Flipkart, one of India's largest e-commerce companies. At Flipkart, he worked on several critical projects, including the company's payment gateway and logistics platform.
In 2014, Lalit co-founded a startup called CareerMonk, which was later acquired by Treebo Hotels. After the acquisition, Lalit worked at Treebo as the Head of Engineering, where he oversaw the development of the company's technology infrastructure.
In 2016, Lalit left Treebo to start Groww, along with his co-founders Harsh Jain, Neeraj Singh, and Ishan Bansal. Groww is a user-friendly investment platform that allows users to invest in mutual funds, stocks, and other financial products seamlessly.
Under Lalit's leadership, Groww has grown exponentially and has become one of India's most popular investment platforms. In just a few years, the company has amassed over 1 crore (10 million) users and has been valued at over $3 billion.
