Abhijeet Suresh[1] Nikam is an analytical and result-driven professional experience in various areas of Direct and Indirect Taxes, accounting, and finalization. He is well-versed in Income Tax, Indirect Tax Laws, GST, VAT, and Customs, as well as RERA and other related laws. Abhijeet holds a B.Com degree, an M.Com degree, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Management from www.nmims.edu., GST Practitioner, IIBF and IRDA Certification, He has also pursued courses in Chartered Accountancy, LLB, and more than 90’s National & International certifications. Currently he is pursuing his Phd in Commerce In “Financing Agriculture by District Co Operative Central Bank for Satara District”[2]

Abhijeet Suresh Nikam [3]is an accomplished professional with expertise in Direct and Indirect Taxes, accounting, and financial management. He has a strong academic background and extensive experience in working with Chartered Accountants, Company Secretory and Lawyers. He has published his Journal in International Level at International Journal of Novel Research and Development.[4]

Early Life and Background

Abhijeet[5] was born on December 11, 1994, in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He completed his secondary education and higher secondary education from Maharashtra Board, specializing in Commerce. He secured top ranks in both his higher secondary and bachelor's degrees. Abhijeet pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (Honors) degree from Bunts Sangha's S.M.Shetty College of Science, Commerce and Management Studies in Powai, Mumbai. He went on to earn a Master of Commerce (Honors) degree from the University of Mumbai. Additionally, he holds a Government Diploma in Co-Operative Accountancy and a Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Management from NMIMS.[6]

Career

Abhijeet started his career as an executive with GSC Intime Services Pvt. Ltd., where he provided support to the company in various tax matters. He prepared and filed returns related to Service Tax, Excise, MVAT, Professional Tax, Income Tax, and GST. During this time, he gained expertise in Indirect Tax Law and Customs Law, handling GST migration and registration for various entities. Abhijeet also played a role in company decision-making and payroll management.[7]

Later, he joined WeOne Softtech Pvt. Ltd. as a Controller of books of accounts. In this role, he managed financial control, planning, forecasting, budgeting, and analysis. Abhijeet was responsible for cash flow management, financial MIS, and liaising with stakeholders. He also actively participated in company law-related matters and strategy making, working closely with the CEO and MD. Additionally, he handled various tax returns, including GST, Service Tax, Excise, MVAT, Professional Tax, and Income Tax, on a PAN India level.

Awards and Recognition

Abhijeet[8] has received several awards and accolades throughout his academic and professional journey. He holds Two World Records for his outstanding achievements, one being the "Most Appreciations Certificate in minimum period"[9] recognized by Champion Books of World Records. He has also been awarded for his skills as a Mutual Fund Advisor at an Inter College Fest. Abhijeet actively participates in cultural programs, debates, and various social activities, including engagement with NGOs.
