Sarma's journey began in the humble town of Guwahati, Assam, India. He completed his early education, including Nursery, KG, and primary school, at St. Mary's School, where he displayed an early interest in the arts. Recognizing his talent and passion, he moved to St. Louis School (Catholic Mission) for grades I to X. After completing his secondary education, Sarma pursued his higher secondary education in Science at Dakshin Kamrup College. His strong academic foundation led him to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Pragjyotish College.
