Debraj Das
Debraj Das (born July 7, 1992) is an Indian entrepreneur and former banking professional, best known for founding C.R.A.F.T Academia, an edtech company providing video-based adaptive and gamified career management solutions. Based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, Das's career spans over a decade in the banking and finance sector before he transitioned into the education technology industry.
Early Life and Education
Debraj Das completed his high school education at Campion School Bhopal in 1996. He then pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Management, Business Administration, and Management at the Bhopal School of Social Sciences. Furthering his education, Das attended the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore, where he completed an Executive Program in Portfolio Management (EPPM) from April 2008 to September 2009.
Career in Banking
Das began his career in the banking industry with ICICI Bank, where he served as an I&S Manager from 2003 to 2004. He then joined Kotak Mahindra Bank as an Associate Vice President, a position he held from January 2005 to November 2013. During his tenure in the banking sector, Das gained significant experience in retail banking, cross selling, and various banking operations.
Transition to Edtech
After 12 years in the banking and finance sector, Das founded C.R.A.F.T Academia in November 2013, along with like-minded professionals, to build a revolutionary functional training academy. Recognizing the dynamic nature of the economy and the need for collaboration between academia and industry, Das aimed to design comprehensive training modules to enhance the skills of youth.

C.R.A.F.T Academia was established to address the gap between academic knowledge and industry requirements. The academy focuses on a "Functional Training" approach, emphasizing both the "What" and "How" of concepts. By utilizing top industry resources, C.R.A.F.T delivers innovative training solutions that combine theoretical knowledge with practical implementation.
In line with this approach, C.R.A.F.T launched LearnEX - The Learning Index, a flagship brand of C.R.A.F.T Academia Pvt. Ltd. LearnEX is a functional training app designed to revolutionize training methods, making learning both fun and exciting.
