Sachmaas Academy is a leading skills enhancement and English language training institute based in Mulund, Maharashtra, India. Founded in 2003 by Dr. Dipti Manish Kenia, the academy is known for its customized and innovative teaching methods aimed at transforming students into confident communicators. History
Sachmaas Academy was established in 2003 by Dr. Dipti Kenia, an educator with a vision to revolutionize English language education in India. Beginning with just 13 students, the academy was born out of a need for quality English instruction in Mulund, Mumbai. Dr. Kenia’s personal passion for the English language and her academic background in English literature, law, and creative writing shaped the foundation of the academy.
Over the years, Sachmaas Academy expanded its offerings and geographical reach, establishing branches in Thane, Juhu, Kandivali, and Amravati. It has since become a prominent name in English language education for both children and adults.
Courses and Programs
Sachmaas Academy offers a comprehensive suite of courses designed for learners of all age groups, focusing on holistic language development and personality enhancement. The courses include:
- Phonics: Structured across three levels—Pre-Foundation (age 3), Foundation (age 4), and Elementary (age 5)—emphasizing spelling, pronunciation, and reading fluency.
- English Grammar & Creative Writing: A seven-level program for children aged 6 to 15 (Classes I to X), integrating grammar with creative expression.
- Reader’s Cocoon: A reading program with seven progressive levels from Crawlers to Pioneers, including exposure to classic literature and vocabulary enhancement.
- Conversation Skills: A three-tiered course—Learners, Transformers, and Performers—focused on spoken English fluency and self-confidence.
- Handwriting: Print and cursive handwriting training for children and adults, improving clarity, speed, and presentation.

Founder
Dr. Dipti Manish Kenia, the founder of Sachmaas Academy, has over 21 years of experience in teaching and educational development. She holds a B.Sc. in Botany from Goa University, an LL.B. from Mumbai University, a Diploma in Creative Writing from Symbiosis (Pune), an M.A. in English Literature, and a CertTESOL from Trinity College London. She also earned a Ph.D. in Creative Writing.
Her vision is centered on helping students build a strong foundation in English through engaging and personalized teaching methods.
