The organization was originally founded in 2012 under the Trusts Act as Spark Foundation and was later restructured and officially registered as a Section 8 NGO under the Companies Act in 2024. Headquartered in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, the foundation operates actively across Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu, with an aim to serve vulnerable and underrepresented communities. The journey of the foundation began in 2012 when Nagothi Venkata Satya Santosh Kumar, a passionate social worker and visionary, founded Spark Foundation with a small group of like-minded individuals. The initiative was rooted in the idea of creating opportunities for education, empowerment, and equality for every section of society, irrespective of their background, gender, or financial status. In its early years, the organization focused primarily on educational and health-related initiatives in rural and semi-urban areas. It organized free medical camps, supported underprivileged students with books and scholarships, and conducted awareness drives to promote hygiene, education, and social welfare. Recognizing the growing need for broader outreach and structural reform, the organization was officially rebranded and registered as Ashrith Jeeven Global Foundation in 2024 as a Section 8 Company.
