With decades of experience as a senior finance executive in the private sector, he is known for his contributions toward social welfare, marriage counseling, and community development in eastern Uttar Pradesh.

Vinod Kumar Srivastava was born on 1 August 1966 in Uttar Pradesh, India. His family roots trace back to the Siddharth Nagar district, where their ancestral property exists. He spent his early years in a culturally grounded environment that emphasized education and public service.
He completed his schooling under the Uttar Pradesh Board and later pursued Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) from Kanpur University. Keen on advancing his managerial and professional capabilities, he completed his Executive MBA from Shobhit University. He has also undergone SAP training, strengthening his expertise in corporate finance and business systems early in his career.
Career
Srivastava built a successful professional career in the corporate sector, holding various leadership roles across accounts, finance, and administration. He served for several years as Accounts Head and progressed eventually to the role of Deputy General Manager, overseeing finance operations for a company with a turnover of nearly ₹400 crore.
