Early Life and Education
Born in Guwahati, Assam, Altaf finished his high school leave certificate (HSLC) at GBN Academy, which is now known as (GU Model High School - English Section), in Gauhati, in 2006. In 2008, he went on to pursue Higher Secondary in Science at Pandu College, majoring in computer science. 2013 saw Altaf graduate with a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering (ME) from G.G.S.C.E.T. (Guru Gobind Singh College of Engineering and Technology, now Guru Kashi University), which is connected to Punjab Technical University (now I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University).
When Altaf was a young boy, his father passed away during his 12th final exam, leaving him with terrible memories. His family had severe financial difficulties as a result of this unfortunate event—a situation that any middle-class family would have encountered. This setback could have ended Altaf's academic career, but his homemaker mother addressed all the challenges head-on and, like a loyal lioness, she fought to make sure her son didn't suffer the consequences. She assumed all duties with steadfast faith, allowing Altaf the opportunity to follow his passions as his father would have.
Career
Altaf worked in the automobile industry for eight years before launching GarageWa in 2022. The company attempts to alleviate car owners' challenges and has spread into key cities across India. Despite scepticism and suggestions to leave his hometown for greater prospects, Altaf stuck to his vision and persevered. Today, GarageWa has a nationwide presence in all major Indian cities, making car servicing easier than ever. Personal Life
Altaf is born to Lt. Akhtar Hussain and Hasnara Begum. He married Momi Yesmin in March 2021. Arhamm, the couple's baby child, was born in 2022. Altaf respects his family and cherishes the time he spends with them. Despite his hectic schedule as an entrepreneur, he values work-life balance and spends valuable time with his family.
