Loukas Tzitzis is a seasoned and truly global business and technology executive with over 25 years of international management experience in AI, Cybersecurity, Fintech, MedTech, Utilities, ICT, and Blockchain. Recognized for his innovative strategies and leadership, Tzitzis has held pivotal roles in SMEs as well as global leaders such as Amdocs, Tech Mahindra & Gentrack, driving digital transformation and integrating cutting-edge technologies into global business models.

Early Life and Education

Loukas Tzitzis was born in Greece and pursued his higher education in the United Kingdom. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Genetics from Cardiff University and later completed a Master’s degree in Management from Loughborough University. His academic background in both science and management laid the foundation for his multidisciplinary approach to problem-solving and innovation.

Early Roles

Tzitzis began his career in the IT and telecommunications sectors, gaining experience in sales, marketing, professional services & system integration, product management and strategic investments across multiple countries and segments. His initial roles involved working with major companies to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience, while his work in startups and mid-sized enterprises focused on developing, selling and implementing innovative products and services that could disrupt existing business models.

Nexign

As the Chief Products, Marketing & Strategy Officer at Nexign, Tzitzis played a pivotal role in the company's new strategy on international expansion, creation of a new product portfolio and rebranding. He led the development of strategies to transition communication service providers into digital service providers. This included leveraging emerging technologies, such as IoT and Blockchain, to enhance customer engagement and create new revenue streams. His work resulted in major recognition of company efforts by leading analysts such Gartner & Analysys Mason, as well as the TM FORUM, where he was nominated as the Global CTO of the year for the industry and a Silver award at the World Exhibition Stand Awards.

Amdocs

In 2019, Tzitzis was appointed as the Global Vice President B2B & Regional Vice President, APAC-2 for Amdocs. During his Amdocs tenure, Tzitzis led the creation of the company’s new enterprises services portfolio as well as a significant improvement in key business metrics for APAC-2. He was also a member of the TM Forum Regional Advisory Board with a focus on 5G and its massive potential for the evolution of DSP’s in the B2B space.

Gentrack Group Limited

In January 2021, Tzitzis was appointed Chief Technology & Marketing Officer at Gentrack Group Limited. In this role, he contributed significantly to the company's technological & marketing evolution, through rebranding and creation of a cloud-based portfolio for utilities that included capabilities from AWS, Qlik, Snowflake, Cybage and Contino. His work was recognised by his award and inclusion in the UK CIO100.

Innovation and Digital Development Agency (IDDA)

In April 2023, Tzitzis became the Managing Director of International Business Development and Growth at the Innovation and Digital Development Agency. Here, he was responsible for formulating and executing strategies to drive investment from international technology companies into the country and foster innovation in digital ecosystems. His work resulted in winning the 2023 DX Inspire global award 2023 for Innovation Ecosystems.

Cutting edge leadership

While excelling corporate business leadership roles where he was responsible for large operating theatres, in the last few years, Loukas Tzitzis has been focusing his CEO efforts in generating tangible business & societal outcomes through application of cutting edge technologies such as AI, Cybersecurity, Tokenisation, and MedTech. Tzitzis work in the last few years has included work that could revolutionise the treatment of depression through the combination of IoT, AI/ML and Insights as well as leveraging the power of tokenisation to create a new community-business driven paradigm that could re-define the relationship between companies and their users.

But in an increasingly digitally connected society, Tzitzis believe that IoT, CPS, AI & Cybersecurity are due to re-define our present and future. “The amount of connected objects has been growing steadily and we can now really use the word ubiquitous. However, we were only scratching the surface of the data & insights potential of IoT for the last 5-10 years but 2025 is shaping to be a turning point, especially for IioT and CPS. There are projections of 75 billion Cyber Physical System (CPS)-connected devices by the end of 2025 and their integration with AI capabilities is set to usher us in an unprecedented era of intelligence and efficiency in multiple sectors.

The next phase of AI-powered CPS evolution will bring in a range of improvements based on Edge AI, Intelligent decision-making and automation, Collaborative robots and more. This next phase of CPS evolution not only requires enhanced CTEM capabilities but also demands platforms that unify operational risk management, compliance, and real-time automation to drive not just security but operational excellence.”
