The Monsoon International Speedcubing Tournament (MIST) is an annual global Rubik’s Cube competition organized by the Cube Federation of India (CFI) in collaboration with Mindgamez. Held during the summer season, MIST has established itself as one of the premier international events in the world of speedcubing, attracting participants from various countries and skill levels.

- Standard Events: 3x3x3, 2x2x2, 4x4x4, 5x5x5, 6x6x6, Megaminx, Skewb, Square-1, Clock.
- Specialty Events: One-Handed Solves including OH_3x3x3, OH_2x2x2, and OH_Pyraminx.
Participants can also register in age-based categories:
- 8 years and below
- 8–13 years
- 13–18 years
- 18 years and above

- Parents Category

Registration and Participation
Participation in MIST requires contestants to register through the official CFI portal. The registration process includes:
- Creating a CFI ID via cfi.in.net
- Choosing events on the MIST-specific website: mist.cfi.in.net
- Submitting documents such as birth and address proof via WhatsApp.
- Completing the payment and confirming registration.
All participants are required to have:
- A laptop with webcam
- Zoom installed
- A stable internet connection
- Official puzzles per selected categories
- Proficiency in English

- Top 5 Awards: Across core events like 3x3x3, 2x2x2, Pyraminx, etc.
- Big Cube Awards: For solving all of 4x4x4, 5x5x5, 6x6x6, and Megaminx.
- Excellence Awards: For cubers who complete 3x3x3, 2x2x2, Pyraminx, and Skewb.
- One-Handed Excellence Awards: For solving OH_3x3x3, OH_2x2x2, and OH_Pyraminx.
