Early Life and Background
Born and raised in the picturesque town of Machhiwara Sahib in Ludhiana, Punjab, Nidhi Sharma hails from a humble middle-class family. She completed her graduation from the prestigious National College for Women and later pursued her M.A. in Hindi Literature from SCD Government College in Ludhiana. Even during her academic years, Nidhi's exceptional talent and vibrant personality shone through. She excelled not only in her studies but also in co-curricular activities, winning numerous prizes in college competitions and youth festivals.
Nidhi's passion for dance, especially Kathak, has been an integral part of her life. Her dedication to the art form earned her recognition as a talented classical dancer. In 2009, she embarked on a new chapter in her life by embracing marriage and subsequently raising two beautiful children. However, fate dealt her a heartbreaking blow when she lost her husband in 2019. Overcoming the deep abyss of depression, Nidhi emerged stronger and resolved to embark on a new journey fueled by her passion.
Career
During the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic, Nidhi turned adversity into opportunity. She delved into her passion for dance, seeking solace and inspiration in its graceful movements. Harnessing her determination, she participated in Mrs. Punjab, a renowned beauty pageant. Recognizing the need for a transformation, Nidhi embarked on a transformative journey of self-improvement. Through a disciplined diet and rigorous exercise regimen, she shed an impressive 20 kilograms. Nidhi's dedication and perseverance bore fruit when she won the prestigious Mrs. Punjab Universe title in December 2021. Empowered by her success, she decided to further test her mettle by participating in FSIA Mrs. India, an esteemed online pageant. Nidhi triumphed at every level, winning the titles of Mrs. Ludhiana, Mrs. Punjab 2022, and ultimately earning the coveted FSIA Mrs. India 2022 crown. Harnessing her passion for dance and her desire to contribute to society, Nidhi became a member of the Machhiwara Sahib Social Welfare Society, an esteemed NGO. Additionally, she embarked on a fulfilling journey as an online dance teacher, grooming aspiring artists while also serving as a wellness coach. Her entrepreneurial spirit led her to establish "Veechi's - The Designer Store," a small business that showcases her creativity and fashion sense.
