Pawan Guntupalli is an Indian entrepreneur and the co-founder of Rapido, a ride-sharing platform. He is known for his innovative and disruptive approach to the transportation industry in India, which has helped to make transportation more affordable and accessible to millions of people across the country.

Early Life and Background

Pawan Guntupalli was born and raised in the city of Hyderabad in the southern Indian state of Telangana. From a young age, he displayed a keen interest in technology and entrepreneurship, and he was always eager to learn new things.

After completing his schooling, Pawan went on to study engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi. It was during his time at IIT that he became interested in the world of startups and entrepreneurship, and he began to explore the idea of launching his own venture.==Career== After completing his education, Vikram Chopra started his career as a consultant at McKinsey & Company, where he worked for several years. After completing his engineering degree, Pawan worked at a number of top tech companies, including Google and Microsoft, where he gained valuable experience in software engineering and product development.

In 2015, Pawan decided to take the leap and launch his own startup, Rapido, with his co-founders Aravind Sanka and Rishikesh SR. Rapido is a ride-sharing platform that connects customers with bike taxi drivers in real-time, allowing them to quickly and easily book a ride to their destination.

Under Pawan's leadership, Rapido has grown rapidly, expanding its operations to more than 100 cities across India and raising more than $120 million in funding from top investors.
