Pawan Guntupalli is an Indian entrepreneur and the co-founder of Rapido, a ride-sharing platform. Early Life and Background
Pawan Guntupalli was born and raised in the city of Hyderabad in the southern Indian state of Telangana. From a young age, he displayed a keen interest in technology and entrepreneurship, and he was always eager to learn new things.
After completing his schooling, Pawan went on to study engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi. After completing his engineering degree, Pawan worked at a number of top tech companies, including Google and Microsoft, where he gained valuable experience in software engineering and product development.
In 2015, Pawan decided to take the leap and launch his own startup, Rapido, with his co-founders Aravind Sanka and Rishikesh SR. Rapido is a ride-sharing platform that connects customers with bike taxi drivers in real-time, allowing them to quickly and easily book a ride to their destination.
Under Pawan's leadership, Rapido has grown rapidly, expanding its operations to more than 100 cities across India and raising more than $120 million in funding from top investors.
