Pradeepkumar Yadav is an Indian cricket coach and sports fitness trainer based in Nagpur, Maharashtra. He is the founder of the PKY Specialised Cricket Clinic and the Share A Smile Multipurpose Society (SASMS). Known as Coach PKY, he is the first coach from Vidarbha to earn an ICC Level 2 certification. Over the past 15 years, he has trained many cricketers, many of whom have gone on to represent India at the national and international levels.

Early Life

Pradeepkumar Yadav was born on 8 January 1991 in Nagpur, Maharashtra, India. From an early age, he showed a deep interest in cricket and fitness, which later shaped his professional path as both a player and coach.

Career

Pradeep began his cricket journey as a player, representing Maharashtra in Under-16 and Under-19 Nationals, and also captained Nagpur University in National University tournaments. His coaching journey began in 2008, leading to several impactful roles:

Pradeepkumar Yadav has gained a reputation in Nagpur for his result-driven coaching style. Several of his trainees have gone on to represent in BCCI board-level matches, underlining the effectiveness of his programs.

He was also the first in Nagpur to organize a Fast Bowlers Workshop, focused on building technical strength and performance among pace bowlers.

His academy, PKY Specialised Cricket Clinic, was officially certified by Sanspareils Greenlands (SG), making it a recognized training center. SG also selected his academy for a sponsorship involving the launch of its new SG Super Balls, which were used during the Fast Bowlers Workshop a first-of-its-kind collaboration in India.

In July 2025, he completed the Pro Coaching Foundation program by Royals Coaching Hub, further strengthening his advanced coaching credentials.

Pradeep resides in Nagpur, Maharashtra. His coaching mantra emphasizes “quality over quantity”, and he actively promotes inclusive, personal coaching. He continues to train young talent using modern, tech-driven methodologies.
