Early Life & Background

Rohit Khandelwal was born in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh (now Telangana). Coming from a Marwari family with roots in Rajasthan, he was raised in a multicultural environment. Khandelwal completed his graduation from Aurora Degree College. He initially worked as a ground staff for SpiceJet and later as a technical support assistant for Dell Computers.

His tryst with the world of modeling began when he landed his first television advertisement, starring alongside Kareena Kapoor in a jewelry commercial. This opportunity opened doors for him, leading to more appearances in various advertisements. Although he had to overcome language barriers, being raised in Hyderabad with limited fluency in Hindi, Khandelwal took Hindi diction classes to polish his language skills.

Rohit Khandelwal made his television show debut in episode 76 of "Yeh Hai Aashiqui," an Indian television series that dramatized love stories and aired on Bindass. He then portrayed the character of Bhuvan, the leader of handloom weavers, in the television series "Million Dollar Girl," which was broadcasted on Channel V. These early roles showcased his acting prowess and garnered him attention in the entertainment industry.

In 2015, Khandelwal achieved a major milestone by winning the prestigious Mr India 2015 contest held in Mumbai. This victory not only earned him the title but also two special awards, namely "Stay-On Mr Active" and "Provogue Personal Care Best Actor."
