Early Life & Background
Siddharth Nigam [2] was born and raised in Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. He hails from a family deeply rooted in the entertainment industry. His elder brother, Abhishek Nigam, is also an actor, and their mother runs an NGO and a beauty parlour. Nigam completed his tenth-grade studies at Khelgaon Public School, where he discovered his passion for gymnastics. His dedication to the sport paid off when he won a gold medal in parallel bars and a silver medal in high bar at the 58th National School Games in Pune. Later, he made the decision to move to Mumbai to pursue his acting career. In 2021, Nigam pursued a degree from Thakur College in Kandivali, Mumbai. He currently resides in Mumbai and owns two houses in the city.
Career
Nigam's journey in the entertainment industry began in 2011 when he appeared in a Bournvita advertisement. His talent caught the attention of the makers of the film "Dhoom 3," who invited him for an audition to play the young Sahir/Samar. The film, directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, was released on 20th December 2013. Nigam's performance received critical acclaim, with reviewers praising his self-assured acting skills and charming presence on screen.
Following his successful film debut, Nigam made his television debut as Young Rudra in the mythological drama series "Maha Kumbh: Ek Rahasaya, Ek Kahani" in December 2014. He garnered further recognition when he played the lead role of Young Ashoka in the historical drama series "Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat" in February 2015.
Nigam's talent and versatility led him to participate in the reality dance show "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 9" in 2016. He also portrayed the character of Young Shivaji in "Peshwa Bajirao" the same year. In 2017, he appeared as Bindusara, the son of Emperor Chandragupta Maurya, in the popular series "Chandra Nandini." From 2018 to 2021, Nigam mesmerized audiences with his portrayal of Aladdin in Sony SAB's "Aladdin—Naam Toh Suna Hoga." Most recently, he was seen as Shivaay in Sony SAB's "Hero – Gayab Mode On." Nigam is set to star in the upcoming film "The Shoonyah: Chapter 1 – Blow of The War Horns."
