Early Life

Dr. Sheetal Nair[1] was born on 10th September 1986 in Umreth, Gujarat to Sasidharan Nair and Saraswathy Nair, a Malayali couple from Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. Dr. Sheetal’s family has founded the Uthirakuzhy Bhavani Amma Memorial home for senile women which supports 150+ women & is operated by Snehatheeram Charitable Trust spread in 5 Acres in Mithirmala, the family’s ancestral place.

Sheetal's[2] father, originally from Kerala, worked in various positions in CRPF & Arvind Mills before founding the DSS Group of Companies in 1983.

In 2007, Sheetal [3]graduated with a Bachelor of Computer Applications degree from Faculty of Science, The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, where he had been president of the Training Club. Within the same year, Sheetal went to the Symbiosis international University in Pune to obtain a Master’s in Business Administration in Human Resource Management. After obtaining his MBA in 2007, Sheetal further obtained his Doctorate in Training & Development from North Central University, Arizona, USA. While he was pursuing his doctorate, Sheetal was awarded the RBS Prize for best student. At the age of 22, he started work at his father’s organization as a Field Executive travelling the length & breadth of the country before taking the reins of the organization in the next 6 years.[4]
